Ancient Protosaber Lightsaber
3D Printed Budget Saber Hilt Prop
€25.90
Out of stock
What we have here, is a 3D printed costume prop, a replica saber hilt. Inspired by the ancient 'prototype' lightsaber, aka protosaber, of the very first Jedi knights from graphic novels. The kit comes with a hilt (at hefty 340mm overal length) which is connected to a remote power unit with a cord. The power unit is hollow, for potential electronic installs.
3D printed mostly out of PLA, but the translucent parts (power unit red screens and orange bubl, plus the blue crystal at the hilt emitter) are translucent PETG. The pommel is threaded, in case you want to shorten or stretch the power cord. Power unit can be attached to 1.5" (38mm) wide belt. Painted to look weathered, as a relic found on distant planet, or just seen heavy use over the service years.
If you don't fancy the weathered look, we also have this prop available as DIY kit. The colour of the DIY kit parts may differ from our reference shots here, pending on what colouir filament we have in stock here. The DIY kit also requires A LOT of sanding, we recommend applying a thick coat of filler primer as well.
If this item is not in stock, it usually takes 2 or 3 business days to complete another one. We'll keep you informed of the process! Also, we asked our postal service for free shipping, and they laughed at us... Hence, we can't offer one for You either, but on the bright side three or even four hilts will fit in one package under same postage easily. These kits are so lightweight.
Due to the nature of the item, we do not offer warranty or returns. But, if there's a problem with the item or shipping, contact us and we'll sort it out! Usually by sending another similar item, or offering a full refund.
