Old Ben Elite Series LS Hilt

3D Printed Premium Saber Hilt Prop

Out of stock

What we have here, is a 3D printed costume prop, a replica saber hilt. Inspired by the weapon of Obi-Wan Kenobi, from the iconic Episode IV: A New Hope. When he was hiding in desert planet Tatooine, under false name 'Ben Kenobi'. The kit is 1:1 in scale, measures approx. 295mm in overall length.

But what makes our Elite Series LS props special, is the reveal crystal chamber inside the hilt, accessible via simple quick lock mechanism! The Force crystal is also illuminated, by a LED in the lower half, conveniently placed in removabel Diatium energy cell. The energy cell also stores the power source, two AAA batteries in this case. All the Elite Series hilts also come with a proprietary display stand, which allows the hilt to be displayed with crystal chamber opened.

These hilts have been 3D printed out of many different materials, from regular PLA to Silk PLA for certain accents, and the parts involved with the locking mechanism have been printed out of PETG. This will give them much better long term durability. Brass, aluminium or steel parts possibly also used for structural integrity. Painted and weathered for authentic, battle-worn appearance.
