STL Package for Darth Vader ROTS Hilt

Files for 3D Printing a Lightsaber Hilt Prop

€4.90

We're proud to present one of our top models, a lightsaber hilt inspired by Darth Vader's weapon from iconic Episode III: The Revenge of the Sith. This is a rare model, as it was mostly used for promotional illustration only, but nevertheless it is an important piece in the character saga.

The ZIP package contains whopping 14 separate files, so you can print & post process them easier. Major parts also have a quick lock mechanism, to join them together, but smaller parts needs to be glued. You can also mount these parts on a 22mm (7/8") tube or rod, for added structural integrity or weight. In general, we consider our model of this prop dimensionally very accurate!

Designed for FDM printing, but we can't see why this wouldn't work with SLA as well. Should be fine for 0.2mm layer height, but you'll get more details for smaller parts with 0.12mm precision. We recommend using a bit stronger material (PETG or such, for example) for covertec wheel, especially if you're planning on actually carrying this on your belt.

Aside that, the recommended parts needed are:
-Glue
-Sand paper (optional)
-Paint (unless you're printing out of Silk filaments)
-22mm (7/8") rod or tube
-Dome head hex screw for covertec wheel, M4 or 8-32

For printing some parts, we recommend using supports!
